This kaupapa aims to support 8-10 rangatahi Māori (aged 16-30) into regenerative land and sea industry pathways through structured exposure, hands-on experience, and partner-led learning.
This free programme is designed to build confidence, capability, and connection to whenua and moana, while identifying clear pathways into employment, training, or further development within the environmental sector.
The programme involves two days per week in August (Thursdays and Fridays). Each day comprises of either half or full day wānanga of partner-led hands-on environment experience. The sessions are delivered in partnership with iwi, rūnaka, environmental organisations and industry providers.
Valid for Ōtautahi residents only.
Registration close at 11:59pm on 16 July 2026. Successful applicants will be notified by 20 July 2026.
